July 11, 2023 – Today was probably the hottest, most grueling day I’ve faced to date. I rode from Dighton, Kansas to Great Bend, Kansas with a 106 degree road surface temperature. At Dighton, I located my camping spot at the Central Baptist Church. The church is another one that provides a place to camp for touring cyclists.
