July 9, 2023 – Leaving the comfort of a hotel and heading into the flatland of Colorado. Riding through the several “ghost towns” including my destination of Eads, and then ending up at the Sheridan Lake Bible Church where they offer to put up cyclists, but 30 miles beyond my planned stop.
